Tummy Funk: 1, Elizabeth: 0
Yes, Elizabeth was felled by some rogue, raw veggies on a "Unity salad" in upper Bhagsu (the village half an hour down from McLeod Ganj where we're staying) and has spent the day in bed. Wish her well from afar.
I sympathize. I have been socked in the tummy by Trader Joe's fake chicken, which had orange in it. My host was so excited about cooking it for me that I could not say no even though I know I'm allergic to oranges. I said yes because I had to turn down other foods previously. Sigh.
Also, I meant to say: Say hi to Shmerneems. I didn't know she was there, or that she was studying yoga. That is awesome.
I am home from California. I loved seeing the beach and mountains and friends, but was freaked out by the anorexic, peroxided girls and the traffic.
Sorry, lady! Feel better. Take it easy and stop working so much, sheesh. How about a vacation?
ReplyDeletei was felled by raw veggies in Oaxaca - beware of the raw veggies....get well soon Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteOh, Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteVegetables are the devil's agents!
I hope you feel better soon.
Take care both of you.
Cheers,
Shelley
Aw, poor Zooberooni! Feel better.
